Definition of Personal Information. Your use of My Career requires us to gather personal information about you, which is information that can be linked to a specific individual, such as name, postal and email address, and telephone number (“Personal Information”). Personal Information also includes demographic and other information if and when it is associated with an individual’s Personal Information. My Career only collects Personal Information we deem necessary and appropriate to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with us. Individual users may refuse to provide Personal Information, with the understanding that it may prevent us from providing the service requested by the user.
How We Use Your Personal Information. Furthermore, you expressly consent to being contacted by us, our affiliates, and schools with which My Career has partnered, or their respective representatives, with information for educational services via email, physical mail, text message, telephone or cellular phone, and understand and agree that the calls and messages may be transmitted using an automatic telephone dialing system and/or an artificial or prerecorded voice.
We may also disclose your Personal Information as we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law, including laws outside your country of residence; (b) to comply with legal process; (c) to respond to requests from public and government authorities including public and government authorities outside your country of residence; (d) to enforce our terms and conditions; (e) to protect our operations or those of any of our affiliates; (f) to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you or others; and (g) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
